In February we found our voices and got involved with protests and resisting the actions of this new administration and their Project 2025 plan. On Wednesday, February 5th we drove to the offices of our U.S. Senators and marched. This was hosted by Indivisible Northern Arizona. I have become a photographer for their events of which I participate.

Four days later we went to our first Indivisible Northern Arizona Meeting. They usually have a dozen folks show up. This time there is more.

Two days after THAT we headed to Denver for our visit we've been trying to make happen since Christmas. We treated ourselves to an overnight at some hot springs near Santa Fe on the way.

We made it to Denver and spent a WHOLE lotta time with this little guy.

We did house projects, watched him manage the loading of the dishwasher, and put him to work in the yard rearranging Mom's solar lights.

He took us driving...

Had amazing toddler conversations...

We cleaned him up and watched him turn light on and off endlessly.

He got ran over by his favorite truck and experimented with it on his indoor slide. SO fun.

He liked trying on this fun piece of clothing and crawling out of a jumpy house at a local play area.

We spent our evenings with my brother and his family.

We were even able to steal Chelsea away for a day and drive to Idaho Springs and soak in some hot springs. While on this trip we found out that Evonne had been laid off from her logistics job in Cincinnati. We made a plan to fly there on the 25th, five days after getting home from Denver, to help Evonne and Akacia pack, load and move.
We arrived in the night of the 25th in Cincinnati. We then spent the next two days packing the girls before picking up the U-Haul on Friday morning. Evonne had corraled several friends to help and we loaded it in about two hours.

This little sign is complete bullshit. It does NOT drive like a van. It drives like a truck with no shocks.

My #1 Co-Pilot sitting in the front seat of a 26 foot truck. It was much easier to maneuver than I thought it would be. We wanted the next size smaller but they were out so this is what we drove. Ellen and I in the truck, Evonne and Akacia and the two dogs in the car.

I'm going to miss visiting Cincinnati. It is a cool town. We rented this place last year when we visited. Below is the group photo before our farewell dinner at The Incline House restaurant. We did take-out and left the next morning, March 1.

Looks like lots of fun. The little guy is a cutie! I can see why you'd spend so much time with him. Bet he was a hoot!
Quite the adventure, not enough photos of the little fella.
Loved the 2 tiny teeth!
